Dark Denim Work Shirt

Season after season, Gitman return to the same 8oz dark denim fabric. It's proudly woven in the USA from 100% cotton twill and uses a natural indigo dye to achieve its distinctive blue hue. It may not be as heavy as denim you’d find in jeans or type-1 jackets, but that’s precisely why Gitman keep returning to it. As a shirt fabric, it's simply perfect. Light enough for year-round wear and heavy enough for a lifetime of use, they believe denim shirting does not get better than this.

American-made, indigo-dyed, and heavyweight. Gitman's Dark Denim fabric doesn’t have any bells and whistles, it’s just made exactly as denim should be. But unlike denim used for jeans, this is a bit lighter to accommodate the movement and range of motion required for comfortable shirts. 

Expect a break-in period that will make this fabric soft and supple. Slight fading will occur over years of wear and washing.
