This would change in the early 2000s when Filson swapped over to YKK hardware. The Talon era denotes the time period when these bags were still fresh on the scene and the quality was incredible. Every bag was over engineered. They don't make 'em like they used.
This particular bag is absolutely HUGE. Ample room for multiple weekends worth of clothes or your outdoor gear. Think of it as a gear bag more than a duffel.
Bag shows clear signs of being used. Multiple marks, scuffs and small stains throughout but nothing excessive. Leather straps and trims are all in very good condition. Nothing particularly cracked or dried out. Some hardware shows light signs of corrosion or wear. Zipper itself is intact and in great working order.
