Where a normal pair of Indigo jeans will have a white core thread, with indigo dyed threads winding around it, this fabric uses core threads in every color of the rainbow, so as they wear and fade you uncover the brilliant, and fun shades underneath.
There is some very slight fading on the knees, and a couple washes have broken in any stiffness, but this pair is still inky dark with maximum rainbow-fade potential.
